Car Corner Lights - Buyer’s Overview

Jetta Corner Light
Hot car photos, displays at exhibition stands, animations, movie and still shots –all depict the car from a unique angle focusing the corner lights. From aesthetic point of view, the importance of corner lights is pivotal, despite its small physical presence compared to mighty headlights and taillights.

Corner lights assemblies are installed in the front corner of the automobile, just lateral to the headlamps. Often, headlamps and corner lights merge together into a single case containing both the lights. They may also be installed on the bumper, together with bumper lights. The final position of the corner lights depend on the overall look of the car, as best decided by the company designers. Nevertheless, you can use your own creativity to make your car look different by toggling positions or installing new custom corner lights assembly.

In newer models, there exist a very fine line between the corner lights and the car headlights. Often is the case that when either is damaged, the entire pair needs to be replaced, as corner lights are physically integrated into the headlamps. These innovations are only possible due to technological advances that has given birth to many classy car lights designs. It is not completely unimaginable that after another ten years, separate corner lights may be thought of as a thing of the past. Nonetheless, the legacy they leave behind for the car enthusiasts is that of a fond one, still pursued for aesthetics.

Corner light may seem to be disappearing functionally, but aesthetically they are still very much alive and beating. Custom corner lights can give your car a subtle classy touch, which if synchronized with the overall customization, can lead to a big boost in the way the car looks.

Corner lights are cheaper to customize than the bigger, more expensive headlights. Often, customizing and replacing faulty headlights become cost prohibitive. This is not the case with corner lights. The cost incurred while changing corner lights is a fraction of that incurred while replacing headlamps. You can add glory to your vintage car by cheaply customizing corner lights, rather than taking the toll of changing full headlamps.

Primarily, corner lights are coupled with signal lights, so that it’s main function remain to be indicating an upcoming turn. Since corner lights indicate a turn to the preceding car, some people disregard it as unimportant.  To assure safety however, it is advisable to have a functioning corner light at all times.
